BoaF bluejet ref OCW

WOOOOOOO NEW REFS!!!!! drew this one day before yesterday I think........ or it could have been yesterday........ eh, either way........

BLUEJET! the bird kitty! (can't call him a cat bird, since there IS an animal called the catbird I think....... ah well......) or maybe "felis flyus"? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

the main character of "birds of a feather" which was meant to be a sort of "high school drama" comic...... we have bluejet here, off for his first day of a public school...... his mom (a normal bluejay) had raised and schooled him herself, for fear of what the others in the feathered community would say about him...... BUT (as part of a flashback I was going to show) his birthday wish when he turned 16 was that he could go to a highschool with everyone else........ so here he is!

he's VERY optimistic...... and a bit oblivious to how things are on the street, since his mom didn't let him go outside much....
he also LOVES attention (especially from being called "cute") so he's a natural flirt....... that little "poof" expression I drew, is something that he learned was "cute" so he does it often....... UNfortunately, while the girls in highschool LOVE it.... the guys INSTANTLY pick on him about it............... since for birds, poofing up like that is a way to make yourself bigger, and is usually only done by small, young, and/or pathetic birds............thank goodness for carlos though...... who sees bluejet getting picked on and comes to the rescue in his own special way! (stay tuned, I'm uploading carlos's ref now)
