Costume WIP: wing claws 1

Seriously hating hiding my stuff now XDD oh well.....

Just working on the clawsies... This is a small update, but hey, it's a progress pic on something that i haven't posted about yet!

Anyhoo, one thing I wanna mention, that's been on my mind for a while..... The "KIND of foam"..... i have heard several people say "USE THE GREEN FOAM ONLY, THE WHITE FOAM IS BAD" .... But the TRUTH is..... The ONLY bad thing about the white foam is, that over time it tends to turn yellow..... People say that means that the foam deteriorates.... NOT TRUE... It does NOT change the quality of the foam, just the color, and a little bit of the texture.... Not even noticeable though...... But the GOOD thing about the white foam, is that it is cheaper than the green foam..... A roll 1'' thick, 27'' wide and 76'' long (a huge roll of the stuff) is only 16.99 at hobby lobby, and if you use a coupon that makes it 40% off!!! But the green foam, 1x24x72 (several inches LESS) at handcock fabrics is 29.99.......... Sure you could use a 40% off coupon there too..... But, the saving still sits with the white foam.........

So, fellow fursuit makers, or aspiring ones..... Here are the facts.... The green is good, and SO IS THE WHITE!! Don't judge the foam by it's color..... If you have money problems, and who doesn't.... Then the white foam may be the one for you!! ^^
