GoR tristan ref OCW

the main characters from guardians of reality!! for THIS comic I wanted to make characters using a "launching point"..... and the launching point I chose was "the 5 senses, touch, taste, smell, vision, and hearing" so, the characters personalities and traits I derived from what I thought of, when I thought of that particular sense! then when I was making their names, I used the first letter of that sense and ran with it!....... even their powers have a touch of when sense they represent!


SENSE AND POWERS
his sense is touch, which tristan heavily relies on, being legally blind. tristan's power can change an object into something else, as long as he touches it with a texture in mind....... like say, he touched a hard craggy rock, he could turn that rock into a soft gooey clay-like mess....... OR say he needed to cross over some water, all he'd have to do is touch it, and he could stiffen it..... so I guess the easy way to describe his power would be that he can change the consistancy and density of any object by touching it...... this also works with other aspects of touch...... he can raise or lower the temperature of something, and give sharp, slimy, or fuzzy textures... this doesn't affect the weight of the item though, just because he MAKES a rock feel like a pillow, doesn't mean you'll want to be hit with it in a pillow fight
he CAN do this to living creatures too, BUT if he touches something alive and accidentally changes it, he can reverse it by rubbing it with the back of his hand quickly..... he only has ONE object on him (besides his clothes) that cannot be affected by this power, and that is his special white cane

PERSONALITY
tristan is VERY laid back..... he often gets lost in his thoughts....... he is fairly intellectual, he and thomas often play chess after a battle, he LOSES usually..... but tristan's a good sport whether winning or losing. he can usually keep his calm pretty easy. though when he's alone at, his mind drifts to his troubles and makes it hard for him to sleep. so far, only thomas knows about tristan's past. how he wound up blind, and what brought him to join this group in the first place. tristan LOVES a nice clean joke, and often laughs even if no one else finds the joke funny, he has a VERY weird laugh (which hannah finds so cute) tristan was picked as the leader specifically by the guy in charge (not saying who yet) and though he doesn't think he deserves the spot, and will often ask for advice (usually from thomas, who has more experience) he handles the leading job well......
